Flight Phases - anatomy of a 'fuel-optimised' flight

Each of the ASPIRE flight demonstrations will comprise of 5 phases of flight encompassing every aspect of an aircraft’s journey – from the pre-flight planning and in-flight procedures to the sequencing and descent of aircraft to arrival at the gate.
